Shifting Boundaries: The Parent-Child Relationship in a Post-Covid World

February 3 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 at 12:30pm CT on Zoom.

Free

Led by Dr. Sarah Bren, Clinical Phd Therapist and Becky Simon, Admissions and Education Coordinator at The Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church Day School

Relationship dynamics and boundaries have shifted in so many different ways since the start of this pandemic. As parents, we may be finding ourselves also playing the role of teacher, tutor, coach, playmate—the list goes on. With all of these new roles can come a confusing blurring of boundaries, and we find ourselves tired, frustrated, and even, burned out.

This workshop will help you understand and renegotiate these new dynamics, help your children thrive in home learning environments, and give you actionable tools for understanding and responding to your children’s evolving needs.
