On October 29th from 3:30PM to 5:00PM the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is hosting Lakeview Treats! Located at the corner of Clark and Racine, this family friendly event will feature music, costumes, live entertainment, picture perfect moments and a DIY Caramel Apple Stand!
 
Lakeview East will be hosting their Little Monsters Crawl on October 31st from 11:30am to 1:30 PM! Stop by over 40 Lakeview Businesses to trick or treat and support local! Many places have treats for adults as well, including coupons, food samples, and much more!
 
Sunday, October 31st from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Enjoy trick-or-treating from 25 booths and take pictures at the Halloween Photo Wall at The Bucktown Green, 1714 N. Hoyne Ave. (The park located behind the Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch Public Library)
 
Saturday October 23 10am-2pm. Watch Wicker Park transform into a Halloween haven with tons of activities for the whole family. From seasonally-themed games to face painting, pumpkin patches to a pumpkin show, this isn’t your ordinary day at the park. Don’t miss a double whammy of cuteness with the kids’ costume parade and the dogs’ costume parade.
 
Saturday October 30th 11am-12pm. Halloween Book Club & Storytime with Connections Academics! Stories will be read by Anna Tewell who is a former teacher and the current Director of Connections Chicago. This Halloween Book Club will be filled with fun and engaging stories about the best parts of spooky season. Kids are encouraged to celebrate the holiday by wearing their costumes!
 
Monday October 25th from 4pm-8pm on Southport from Roscoe to Grace.The neighborhood’s favorite fall tradition returns! Trick or Treat on Southport features family-friendly activities, craft beer (CASH ONLY), a pumpkin patch, music and trick-or-treating (while supplies last) at local businesses.
 
Thursday October 28th from 3:30-7pm. Bring the kids to Gallagher Way for an early Halloween celebration in Wrigleyville, where costumed attendees can trick-or-treat around the park and participate in a variety of activities. You’ll be able to listen to tunes supplied by the Old Town School of Folk Music, decorate a paper ghost with the help of Kid Create Studio and see magic from the John Measer Magic Show. Stick around to catch an outdoor screening of Hotel Translyvania on Gallagher Way’s video screen, beginning at 5:30pm.
 
October 24th 1-4pm. Participating businesses on Clark Street from Armitage to Diversey transform into trick-or-treat stops featuring candy and surprises for the whole family. Dust off your costumes and grab your cauldrons to pick-up sweet treats from over 20 business along the street! Be amazed by spooky specials throughout the day, creepy stilt walkers, and incredible magicians! Plus, celebrate our resilient business community and stroll along the street to take-in the festive window decorations!
 
The Ghostly Gus Scavenger Hunt is the perfect opportunity for families to dress up and celebrate Halloween in Roscoe Village! Ghostly Gus will be hidden in storefront windows of local businesses. After printing this scavenger hunt sheet or picking one up from one of the participating stores starting on Oct. 24, you can begin your search. Each Ghostly Gus will contain a code that you fill in on your sheet. When you’ve completed a horizontal, diagonal, or vertical line, or completed the entire grid, you can submit it for your chance to win a prize. Make sure to stop inside businesses to get treats along the way too! Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.
 
Fridays-Sundays Oct 8-31 (10am-5pm). Dive into the wonderful world of autumn, from picking the perfect pumpkin to sipping festive drinks, with Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual Fall Fest. This free, family-friendly celebration is full of harvest days fun this October. Fest guests can enjoy a pumpkin walk, live pumpkin carvers, a festive pop-up bar, animal chats, musical entertainment and more!
 
Oct 30th (111 N. State Street) This Halloween parade returns to State Street and is great for the whole fam. See unique floats and creative performances along the way. Attendees will receive goody bags at the end.
 
Every day in October, Park & Field has pumpkin carving kits available for $12 per kit (pumpkin & carving kit)
 
The Halloween themed class will take place on Tuesday October 26th from 10:30 – 11:10am on Bar Siena’s outdoor, covered (weather resistant) patio in the West Loop. Don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costume!
 
Put the costumes on and let the fun begin! You’ll love this spooky jam session with Tunes with Tim followed by a reading of Andi The Candy Witch by its author, M+A Expert and Celebrity Nutritionist Karina Heinrich.
 
Navy Pier is one of Chicago’s most family-friendly attraction, with rides, games, and boat cruises that will delight visitors of all ages. This October, the lakefront attraction will be transformed into an experiential fall spectacle during Pier Pumpkin Lights. The whole family can marvel at pumpkin pop-up installations, Pier-wide deals, and more Halloween festivities throughout the month. And don’t miss Slightly Spooky Saturdays, where guests of all ages can enjoy family-friendly movie screenings, magicians, trick-or-treating, and more.
 
Oct 15-31 at the MSI. Celebrate Halloween with costumes, trick or treating, smashingly fun science and more! Two weeks of family-friendly science experiences will let you get into the Halloween spirit. Explore specially decorated exhibits, examine the science of Halloween with pumpkin drops and slime, try your hand at eyeball dissection and more. You can even go trick-or-treating on Halloween weekend!

You’re invited to the Lincoln Common Fall Festival on Saturday, October 23 from 10:00am to 5:00pm! From pony rides and caricature drawings to window painting and Halloween costume contests, it will be a day full of activities for the entire family (pets too!). Enjoy special offers from Lincoln Common retailers and neighboring businesses, take home a pumpkin, and maybe even a prize!
 
Join the Alliance Francaise de Chicago for some French-inspired spooky fun for kids (ages 3-12)! They’ll have a costume contest, cupcake-decorating, interactive stories, arts and crafts, a book fair – all part of our fall-themed fête for families. Register today, space is limited!
 
Join Bubbles Academy for their annual spooktacular! This year they’re moving the party to the new Bubbles Academy space at 900 N. Michigan. Sunday October 31st Two time slots: 11 AM – 12 PM or 12 PM – 1 PM. Each time slot will feature live music, trick-or-treat bag decorating, open play and family snapshots by TK Photography! After you have some Halloween fun, stop by other participating retailers at 900 N. Michigan for trick-or-treating!
